1. Achieving a Clean Audit opinion
2. Innovation in Municipal Digital Solutions
3. Avoiding Unauthorized Expenditure
4. Spending 95% of the additional Municipal Infrastructure Grant allocation
5. Fully utilizing the initial allocation of the MIG and WSIG
Lepelle-Nkumpi Municipality was recognized for:
1. Receiving an Unqualified Audit Opinion
2. Avoiding Unauthorized Expenditure in the 2023/24 audit cycle
3. Avoiding Fruitless and Wasteful Expenditure
Molemole Municipality was honored for:
1. Retaining an Unauthorized Audit Opinion with no issues
2. Avoiding Irregular Expenditure

4. Spending 95% of the additional MIG allocation
5. Fully utilizing the initial MIG allocation
Blouberg Municipality secured four awards for:
1. Avoiding Fruitless and Wasteful Expenditure in 2023/24
2. Avoiding Unauthorized Expenditure during the 2023/24 audit cycle
3. Spending over 95% of the additional MIG allocation for 2023/24
4. Fully utilizing the initial MIG allocation for 2023/24
Polokwane Municipality received recognition for:
1. 100% spending on WSIG
2. 100% spending on RBIG
3. Preparing Annual Financial Statements in-house
4. Improving its municipal grading to Grade 6
5. Innovation in Municipal Digital Solutions
6. Attaining an Unqualified Audit Opinion
