MOSENA FAMILY IN ALLDAYS RELIEVED AS WATER SUPPLY RESTORED.

“My family is happy to be able to access water from the yard again. We have been struggling to get water, and now that is over,” said Kemaketse Mosena. The family of five had been without water after their connection was accidentally cut during construction work in the area.

In total, six households were affected by the incident, and water has now been successfully restored to all of them. Capricorn District Municipality (CDM) Portfolio Committee on Finance conducted a site visit to confirm that water services had been fully restored, following their intervention in late 2025. The visit took place on 12 February 2026.
