Capricorn District Municipality is today hosting its 1st Integrated Development Plan Representative Forum.
The aim of the meeting is to present to stakeholders of the municipality, the 2018/19 IDP Process Plan/Framework. The process plan is a document that outlines the activities that the municipality will be engaging in its reviewal of the 2018/19 IDP & Budget. The stakeholders to be consulted and all responsibilities and role players responsible for these. The process planoutlines all key activities to be done until when the IDP and Budget is approved by the council in May 2019.
The process plan also talks about the different phases involved in the formulation of the IDP/Budget namely; analysis, strategies, projects, integration, approval, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation phase.
The meeting is attended by Councillors, traditional leaders, sector departments, non-governmental organisations and community based organisations.
