Collins Chabane School of Artisans launched in Polokwane

“As a municipality we commend the National Youth Develoment Agency (NYDA) for this gallant effort and resources to remain mindful of the demand for jobs by millions of our young people whose plight and hopes are set on all of us as government in all spheres for a change in their circumstances,” said Cllr Jara Masubelele, Member of Mayoral Committee for SEMS.

Cllr Masubelele was speaking during the launch of the Collins Chabane School of Artisans held on 31 October 2019 at Polokwane Council Chamber, Polokwane Municipality. The project involves 60 youth from Sekhukhune and Capricorn District Municipalities.  This youth will undergo training in National Certificate in Water and Wastewater Treatment Process Operations in NQF Level 2.

The programme which will last for twelve months,  is funded by the NYDA. The youth will undergo training at both Capricorn and Sekhukhune TVET Colleges.
