CDM hold a DRM Capacity building workshop at Blouberg

The purpose of the workshop was to give effect to the requirements of the provision of Disaster Management Act No.57 of 2002 and to guide the development and implementation of disaster risk reduction measures.

In giving message of support to the workshop, Provincial Disaster Management Centre Ms Mashalane emphasized that disaster management is everybody’s business. “Disaster management also coordinates all relevant stakeholders through the Disaster Risk Management Advisory Forum,” added Mashalane.

The workshop included presentations on CDM Disaster Management and Municipal Health.
