The Capricorn District Municipality Disaster Risk Management School Expo and Career Exhibition took place at Harry Oppenheimer Agricultural High School in Ga-Matlala under the Polokwane Municipality on 13 March 2026.
Led by the Chairperson of Community Services, Cllr Mpho Lebese, the session brought together municipal officials, disaster risk management practitioners, and educators to engage on disaster preparedness, risk reduction, and career opportunities within disaster management, emergency services, and other sectors.
The exhibition played a vital role in empowering learners by exposing them to a wide range of career paths at an early stage.
