Capricorn District Municipality (CDM), through its Strategic Executive Management Services (SEMS), hosted the District Batho Pele, Thusong Service Centre and Service Complaints Forum meeting on 22 July 2026 at the CDM Council Chamber.
The meeting brought together representatives from government departments, state entities and local municipalities to share service delivery updates, discuss challenges and strengthen intergovernmental collaboration.
Stakeholders, including the Department of Public Service and Administration (DPSA), the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC), the Department of Home Affairs, the Government Communication and Information System (GCIS), the Office of the Public Protector and local municipalities, delivered presentations on their respective programmes and initiatives.
The meeting concluded with constructive discussions on improving coordination among stakeholders, promoting the principles of Batho Pele, and enhancing service delivery for communities across the Capricorn District.
