STANDING COMMITTEE ON APPROPRIATIONS HOST PUBLIC HEARING ON DIVISION OF REVENUE BILL AT POLOKWANE.

The Standing Committee on Appropriations held a public hearing at Jack Botes Hall in Polokwane, on 01 April 2025 to solicit public comments and inputs on the the 2025 Division of Revenue Amendment Bill.
The committee was led by the Chairperson Musi Maimane. Speaking during the meeting Maimane emphasised the importance of such engagements, and urged the public to make inputs for the bill to be approved by Parliament.
The Standing Committee on Appropriations in South Africa is a parliamentary committee responsible for examining and reporting on matters related to government spending and fiscal matters, including the Division of Revenue Bill. It is established under the Money Bills Amendment Procedure and Related Matters Act, 2009.
