COUNCILLORS ATTEND ANOTHER WORKSHOP IN CODE FOR ETHICAL LEADERSHIP IN LOCAL GOVERNMENT .

CDM Councillors participated in a workshop focused on ethical leadership in local government on 03 April 2025. The workshops aim to help local leaders understand the importance of ethical practices, transparency, accountability, and good governance within the local government framework.

These workshops cover issues such as:

1.Ethical Decision-Making: Encouraging councillors to make decisions that prioritize the public good, fairness, and justice.

2. Accountability and Transparency: Highlighting the need for clear communication with the public and maintaining high standards of governance.

3. Integrity in Public Service: Encouraging leaders to uphold moral principles, avoid conflicts of interest, and promote ethical behavior within their teams and communities.

4. Public Trust: Focusing on the importance of gaining and maintaining the trust of constituents through ethical leadership.

The workshop held at CDM Council Chamber, was jointly hosted with COGHSTA.
