The Capricorn District Municipality, through the Special Focus Unit, hosted the World of Impact organisation, the implementation support partner for the End GBVF 100-Day Challenge.As part of the programme, Chris Bischoff, Communications Manager for the End GBVF 100-Day Challenge, is conducting interviews and project site visits to collect footage for a documentary that will be launched in December 2025.
The visit includes engagements with GBVF-empowered initiatives and community projects that are driving change and creating safer spaces for women and children across the district.
The upcoming documentary will showcase and celebrate the impactful work coordinated by the Capricorn District Municipality in partnership with local stakeholders in the ongoing fight against Gender-Based Violence and Femicide (GBVF).
The interviews were conducted with End GBVF team members, including LEDET, Department of Justice, Social Development and Non-Governmental Organisations. The team proceeded to visit successful projects that are GBVF support interventions. The visit took place on 21 October 2025.
