Capricorn District Municipality’s Municipal Public Accounts Committee (MPAC) continued with its oversight work over the work of the municipality to ensure good governance including that public funds were spent responsibly.The committee together with MMCs again visited water projects in villages in Lepelle Nkumpi Local Municipality on 17 October 2023, to check the progress in the projects and decide on intervention strategies, where there are challenges. The villages were Mamaolo, Dithabaneng. Morotse, Thamagane, Tooseng, Malekapane, Tjiane, Marulaneng, Lenting, and Makurung.
