Capricorn District Municipality (CDM) hosted a joint Inter-Governmental Relations (IGR) Forum meeting, bringing together ICT specialists, Batho Pele coordinators, and municipal communicators from across the district. The meeting, held on 18 June 2025 at the CDM Council Chamber, included representatives from sector departments and other key stakeholders who work closely with the government.The purpose of the forum was to provide a platform for collaboration and strategic discussion on improving service delivery. Participants engaged in robust brainstorming sessions focused on enhancing the integration and impact of ICT, the Batho Pele principles, and communication strategies within local governance structures.
The initiative formed part of CDM’s ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperative governance and ensure that public services are delivered more effectively, thereby improving the quality of life for communities across the district.
