MID-YEAR REPORT (2024/25 FINANCIAL YEAR) ON THE MUNICIPAL WEBSITE
It is herewith confirmed that the Municipal Manager has on 24 January 2025, in obedience to section 72(1)(b) of the Municipal Finance Management Act, No. 56 of 2003, submitted the Mid-Year Report for 2024/2025 Financial Year to the Executive Mayor: Capricorn District Municipality, National Treasury and Limpopo Provincial Treasury.
As required by section 54(1)(f) of the Municipal Finance Management Act, No. 56 of 2003, the Executive Mayor has on 24 January 2025 tabled the Mid-Year Report as afore mentioned to the Municipal Council.
Kindly note that the Municipal Council has referred the Mid-Year Report at issue to the Municipal Public Accounts Committee for further scrutiny.
The Municipal Manager hereby make public the Mid-Year Report for 2024/2025 Financial Year by placing it on the municipal official website so as to facilitate public awareness of the mid-year budget and performance assessment as required by the provisions of regulation 34 of the Municipal Budget and Reporting Regulations, dated 2009 and issued in terms of section 168 of the Municipal Finance Management Act, No. 56 of 2003 read with Section 21A(1)(b) of the Municipal Systems Act, No.32 of 2000.
