The Executive Mayor of Capricorn District Municipality (CDM) Cllr Mamedupi Teffo joined the Member of the Executive Council (MEC) in Limpopo for the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mme Nakedi Sibanda-Kekana, at Henry Oppenheimer Agriculture School for the Back to School campaign.With the reopening of schools, the Executive Mayor (EM) and MEC came together to ensure that learners at Henry Oppenheimer Agriculture School were ready for the new academic year.
The Back to School campaign aimed to provide support and resources to schools in rural areas, particularly in the agricultural sector.
As part of the campaign, the CDM and MEC engaged learners, teachers, and school staff to address challenges and provide necessary tools for a successful academic year.
The initiative highlighted the dedication and commitment of both the EM and MEC towards improving education in rural communities and ensuring that all learners have access to quality education.
Other schools that were visited are Semaneng Secondary School at Ga- Matlala and Rammetloana Primary School in Moletjie.
