It is with great pride and deep appreciation that I present the Annual Performance Report of Capricorn District Municipality for the 2024/2025 financial year. This report reflects our continued journey to improve
the lives of our people and advance the goals of the District Development Model (DDM) through integrated, sustainable, and people-centred service delivery.
The 2024/2025 financial year marks yet another milestone in the district’s journey of building a capable, people-centred local government. We have made strides in advancing service delivery, promoting good governance, and laying the groundwork for inclusive socio-economic development under the District Development Model.
This Annual Performance Report (APR) serves as a basis for accountability and transparency on the state of service delivery of our municipality at the end of 2024/2025 financial year. The report gives communities and stakeholders to assess the effectiveness of programmes and policies of Council to deliver services. During this financial year, we maintained our unwavering commitment to building a capable, responsive, and developmental Municipality. As a District, we focused on strengthening the foundation of basic services, accelerating infrastructure development, and responding to the socio-economic needs of our communities.
