As part of promoting fire safety and prevention, Capricorn District Municipality Emergency Services took the International Fire Fighters Day (IFFD) Roadshow Campaign to Game Centre in the Polokwane CBD on 14 May 2026.
The team visited various shops to raise awareness about the importance of complying with fire safety measures, identifying structural risks faced by businesses, and promoting fire prevention practices among shoppers and members of the public passing through the area.
The campaign formed part of ongoing preparations for the main International Fire Fighters Day event scheduled to take place on 20 May 2026.
