STRENGTHENING EDUCATION INFRASTRUCTURE FOR BETTER LEARNING

The Capricorn District Municipality continued to support initiatives aimed at strengthening education infrastructure and creating better opportunities for communities across the district.

In this spirit, on 13 August 2026, Executive Mayor Cllr Mamedupi Teffo joined the MEC for Education, Mme Mavhungu Lerule-Ramakhanya, for the official handover of a completed infrastructure project at Mphareng Junior Primary School in Moletsi Makgofe, under the Capricorn South Education District in Polokwane Municipality.

The handover marked an important milestone in efforts to provide learners and educators with a safer, more conducive and supportive environment for teaching and learning.

Improved school infrastructure plays a vital role in creating conditions where learners can focus on their education, while educators are supported to perform their duties effectively.

The occasion reaffirmed government’s commitment to investing in education infrastructure, improving learning environments and creating a stronger foundation for the future of our communities.
