“The greatest asset we have in the Capricorn District Municipality are our employees. It is important that we invest in them. The capacity of employees is of paramount importance not only for the proper performance of their jobs but also for morale and motivation to serve,” said Executive Mayor speaking during the official Induction ceremony for Process Controllers on Water, Wastewater Treatment Process program launched in partnership with the Capricorn TVET College (Seshego Campus). The induction ceremony took place on 13 November 2023.
” Our greatest asset is to provide skills and respond through training needs in the district and beyond. This programme is a breakthrough and a perfect partnership wherein we will have our best team working to upskill the identified employees,” said College Principal Mr Lekau Mamabolo.
The programme is funded by LGSETA and targeted 28 Municipal employees working in the water department from both CDM (18) and Polokwane Local Municipality (10). They will be attending classes scheduled one week per month. This is to ensure service delivery is not compromised. The programme will run for a period of twelve months.
