The Municipal Public Accounts Committee (MPAC) visited the Molemole RWS project (Phase 1) on 12 August 2022. The Refurbishment project is being implemented at Dipateng Village in Botlokwa under Molemole Local Municipality.
Led by Chairperson Cllr Lisbeth Mothata, MPAC project visit was aimed at getting an update on the progress of the project. It was presented that the R4, 6 million project is 75% complete.
MPAC met with the project manager, contractor, consultant and community representatives namely project steering committee, Ward Committee, Community Liaison Officer and Ward Councillor. The project also has Phase 2.
