MPAC committee focused on sanitation project visit. The Chairperson of the Municipal Public Accounts Committee (MPAC) Cllr Lisbeth Mothata led the MPAC committee on an oversight project visit of Capricorn Household Sanitation for Molemole Local Municipality at Masehlong and Mohlajeng village respectively. The visit took place on 07 March 2022.
The six months project valued at R6,46 million, was completed in four months with 515 of Urine diversion Ventilation Improved Pit Latrines 257 for Masehlong and 258 at Mohlajeng. Outlining the project report to the committee, the project team gave credit to the great support they received from the community.
“We are happy with the project and we appreciate your effort as MPAC to come here. This has been very fruitful and shows commitment to your work,” said Ntona Mathekgana from Mohlajeng. MPAC do an oversigh monitoring of projects implemented by the municipality on a continuous basis.
