MAPC visit Lebowakgomo WSIG project

The Municipal Public Accounts Committee (MPAC) continue to exucite its oversight responsibilities in the district municipality. On 14 April 2021, the MPAC Committee led by the Chairperson Cllr Paulina Makgato were doing an oversight visit of Lebowakgomo WSIG Project.

The project is at Lebowakgomo Zone B in Lepelle-Nkumpi Local Municipality. The project scope of work included drilling of 2 x boreholes, construction of pipelines and 3 Phase powerline.

“We are satisfied with the project because our people are getting water and the contractor has done a good job”, said Ward Councilor for Ward 15 Cllr Motlishi Kgwedi.
The project is benefitting the community of Lebowakgomo Unit B, Block 4 and 5. The chairperson of MPAC thanked the team that worked tirelessly to ensure that the project become and success.”Our ultimate goal is to see service delivery taken to our people and when we see success we should really give credit to the good work done,” said MPAC Chairperson Cllr Makgato.
