INTRODUCTION OF CONTRACTOR FOR WATER PROJECT IN LEPELLE-NKUMPI

Water is life and Capricorn District Municipality, as a water service authority, has a core mandate to ensure delivery of this basic service to the people. On 23 November 2022, MMC of DPEMS Cllr Masoga Calvin was at Ga-Mathabatha Village in Lepelle-Nkumpi Local Municipality to introduce Contractors for water supply project in the area.

The (Bodutolo) Mathabatha/Tongwane RWS project’s scope of work includes installation of steel water tanks, construction of 18000 m pipeline, installation of water treatment package plant, yard connections, fencing of borehole and storage facilities. The project is valued at R34 million and is expected to be completed by 15 December 2023.

MMC Masoga was joined by MMC of LED Cllr Caroline Mamabolo and MMC of Finance Cllr Maria Ramokolo, Ward Councillor, Moshate, and others.
