“The drive to create awareness about disaster management never stops because disaster is everybody’s business”, this were utterances from Cllr Lehong during the build-up campaign for the 2021 Commemoration of International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction on 07 October 2021.
The campaign categorized by presentations from Municipal Health service, Fire services and disaster management, took place at Mamaolo Community Hall under Lepelle-Nkumpi Local Municipality.
The Municipal Health Service outlined their role towards community safety, monitoring and inspection of facilities, food and water sampling, Covid-19 Awareness and compliance.
