Executive Mayor meet CDM sraff

“As a new Executive Mayor, I have seen it befitting to make an effort to get to know the men and women who have committed to serve the people of Capricorn”, said Executive Mayor Cllr Mamedupi Teffo during stakeholder engagement sessions held with workers in CDM on 06 October 2021.
The day commenced with a meet and greet session with Executive Committee of South African Municipal Workers Union (SAMWU) wherein the union pledged its support and strive towards building a cordial relationship with the leadership. SAMWU used the opportunity to highlight some of the key issues affecting workers that need immediate attention.
The Executive Mayor proceeded to meet employees stationed in Polokwane, Seshego and Turfloop, before moving to Blouberg and Molemole Fire and Satellite offices respectively.
Today is about meet and greet, I have already received presentations from you Executive Managers and from that session I managed to get an idea of the current status. We need to prioritize our issues related to our key mandate especially water, because water is life”, said Executive Mayor giving a way forward on the programme of the day.
