“We are truly grateful our request did not fall on deaf ears,” said jubilant school principal of Matome Primary School Mme Mojapelo when 62 learners were presented with pairs of new school shoes.The handover of the items was presented by the Executive Mayor of Capricorn District Municipality, Cllr Mamedupi Teffo, in partnership with Old Mutual and Department of Correctional Services. The donation follows the request made by the school’s principal to the Executive Mayor.
“We kindly request continued support for schools such as Matome Primary, as we believe that this relationship should not come to an end,” emphasized the Executive Mayor.
“We believe strongly in working together and see great potential for our community to grow through collaborations”. said Linhle Sekhosana, Old Mutual Regional Manager (PMB Chairperson).
