CDM SUPPORTS SAPS YOUTH INDABA AT SESHEGO

The purpose of the Indaba was to empower the youth to become self-sufficient and be actively involved in crime-fighting initiatives. The theme for the indaba is ” Empowering Youth for Safer Communities and Sustainable Development”.
Acting Executive Mayor Cllr Makgato Machaba said to the youth that, as young people, they need to change their unacceptable behaviour and become good leaders in the Community .
Limpopo MEC for Transport and Community Safety Violet Mathye addressed the youth during the Indaba. She urged them to work with the police in the fight against Gender-Based Violence and Femicide. She further urged them not to see untoward behaviour that other people do and imitate them.
The Event was attended by the MEC for Transport and Community Safety, Violet Mathye, Acting Executive Mayor of CDM Cllr. Makgato Machaba, Limpopo Deputy Provincial Commissioner Jan Scheepers, and other stakeholders
