The Capricorn District Municipality Fire and Disaster Management team, and the Municipal Health, provided vital safety and awareness education to several institutions across Moletsi. This outreach follows the Community Radio Disaster Awareness Campaign hosted on Moletsi FM during the fire season.The team visited Maruma Rehabilitation Centre (Chebeng), Moletjie Centre for Children with Mental Disability (Leokama), Makgokgwana Drop-in Centre (Ga-Nong), Serole Crèche (Ga-Maleka) and Ebenezer Crèche (Motinti). Each institution received a fire extinguisher, a fire blanket, and five indigenous trees to support both safety and greening efforts.
A heartfelt thank you to Moletsi FM listeners who participated in the competition and made these donations possible: Florah Mothapo, Mmaphuti Manamela, Salome Mashamaite, Violet Mphalo and Serole Raphadu. The awareness took place on 17 November 2025.
