On 03 December 2025, the Executive Mayor, Cllr Mamedupi Teffo, joined Office of the Premier: Limpopo Provincial Government Dr Phophi Ramathuba at the Peter Mokaba Stadium parking area in Polokwane for the unveiling of the new Yellow and White Fleet for the Limpopo Department of Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure.During the event, Executive Mayor Teffo indicated that poor road conditions remain the second most pressing service delivery need in the district, underscoring the importance of this investment in strengthening rural infrastructure.
Premier Ramathuba unveiled 105 newly procured units aimed at addressing persistent community concerns regarding deteriorating road conditions, especially in rural areas.
Premier Ramathuba urged officials to take good care of the fleet: “To all the workers who will be using this fleet, please take care of it as if it were your own vehicle.” She also acknowledged MEC for Limpopo Department of Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure, Tony Rachoene, and MEC for The Limpopo Provincial Treasury Kgabo Mahoi, for their efforts in achieving this milestone.
