EXECUTIVE MAYOR ENGAGES MAGOSHI ON DRAFT IDP/BUDGET

The session focused on the proposed budget and upcoming projects for the 2025/2026 to 2027/2028 period, aiming to solicit inputs and feedback from traditional leadership.

Executive Mayor Teffo outlined key municipal priorities, including upgrades to infrastructure services, and explained how these plans align with long-term sustainability goals that address critical community needs.

Traditional leaders raised important concerns regarding project timelines, equitable resource distribution, and strategies to combat unemployment. They also emphasized the need for increased investment in youth development and skills training initiatives.

“We appreciate the feedback and inputs made here. We will look into adjusting proposals where feasible,” said Executive Mayor Teffo.

She added, “The inputs raised ensure the budget reflects the needs of our people, not just the municipality.”
