ENVIRONMENTAL CAPACITY BUILDING FOR COMMUNITY

The workshop aimed to empower community members with skills, knowledge and resources to tackle environmental challenges. The focus was on topics like Waste Management, Land Use Management, Mining Activities, and Climate Change.

The training is part of the district’s commitment to improving community capacity, ensuring communities have the knowledge to address environmental problems. CDM aims to foster a community-led approach to environmental stewardship. Representatives from Blouberg local Municipality, LEDET, COGHSTA, DFFE and DMRE also presented.
