EM donate sanitisers to schools in Molemole

 The Executive Mayor of Capricorn District Municipality Cllr John Mpe is joined by the MEC of Education in Limpopo, Mme Polly Boshielo donated hand sanitisers, Infrared thermometers and face masks to ten schools around Botlokwa (5 high schools and 5 Primary). The donation is part of the Executive Mayor’s Educational Support Program to schools within the Capricorn District Municipality which stareted on 02 June 2020 at Mamatsha Village in Ga-Molepo under Polokwane Municipality Ward 04. The donation session took place on 08 June 2020 at Mokomene high school in Botlokwa under Molemole Municipality.

Like in Lepelle-Nkumpi, each school received 20 litres of sanitisers, two Infrared thermometers and face masks for principal attending the meeting. The schools that received the packages are Khunama, Kgarahara, Puledi, Iteilene, Mokomene, Monyebodi, Phala, Lehaiwa, Sekuruwe and Masenwe schools. 

This according to the Executive Mayor will help in ensuring that our grade 12 leaners remain safe as the teaching and learning continues. “We will ensure that all our 2 circuits in our district are assisted. This is done through the Municipality and its social partners. We will fight this together” Mpe said.

The MEC thanked the Municipality for the contributions. She highlighted the importance of education in one’s life “without education we are nothing. We will ensure the safety in our schools for the learners to be able to pass their matric. We can’t afford them to repeat grade 12. We thank you Executive Mayor Mpe for prioritizing education in your district”, said MEC Boshielo.
