On 02 December 2025, the Speaker of Council, Cllr Kholofelo Lehong attended the official swearing-in of CDM’s newest Council member, Cllr Hafusi Jonathan Mavanyisi, at the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court.Cllr Mavanyisi joins the Council as an ANC PR Councillor, taking over from former Councillor Makwela Edgar Maleka, who vacated office following his resignation.
CDM extends its warmest welcome and wishes Cllr Mavanyisi well in his new role of serving the people of Capricorn District.
