The Executive Mayor of Capricorn District Municipality Cllr John Mpe, has welcomed three senior appointees at the municipality. Cllr Mpe welcomed the newly appointed Municipal Manager Nokuthula Mazibuko, Chief Financial Officer Thabo Nonyana, and Executive Manager for Corporate Services Joseph Machaba.
The three were appointed during two council meetings held in December 2017. The position of MM has been vacant since 2015. The Executive Mayor welcomed the new appointees and thanked the employees who made themselves available to steer the ship forward all this time when the positions were vacant.
“I congratulate all of you on your new appointment, I believe you are the right people to assist the municipality in delivering quality services to the community,” said Cllr Mpe.
He further urged the Executive Managers to inspire the work force of the municipality, and that good management goes with good leadership. The new managers also expressed their appreciation for being part of the municipality.
