CDM LEADERSHIP HANDS OVER NEW WATER PROJECT SITE AT GA-KIBI

The leadership of Capricorn District Municipality (CDM), led by Executive Mayor Cllr. Mamedupi Teffo, visited Ga-Kibi to officially hand over the site for a new water project on 5 August 2025.
The project will benefit the communities of Grootpan, Sias, Longden, and Ga-Mmamoleka (Phase 3 – South Cluster).
The project scope of work includes, construction of a 2ml command steel tank, the construction of a 300kl steel tank, the electrification of three new boreholes, the development of offices and security features at pump stations, also a connection to previously completed phases in Grootpan, Sias, Longden, and Ga-Ramaswikana.
The project, valued at R36,523,735.27 commenced on 05 August 2025 and is scheduled for completion on 30 June 2026.
