Capricorn District Municipality hosted a successfull District Employees Sport Tournament at Polokwane Cricket Club on 11 May 2019. The tournament was officially opened by MMC for Corporate Services Cllr Elisa Kgatla who encouraged fair play throughout the games.
The tournament kick started with aerobics in the morning in order to keep the players warmed up for the matches of the day. The official opening took place at Polokwane Cricket Club but there were other venues utilised for various sporting codes. Golf games were held in University of Limpopo, Fishing at the Seshego Dam, Polokwane Netball Courts was used for Netball, Volleyball and Pool. The sporting codes that weere playing at the Cricket Club were soccer, darts and table tennis.
