CDM has completed its Cleanest School Competition

CDM has completed its Cleanest School Competition, with six schools taking home some good prizes. The competition was held on 13 March 2020 at Motswapo Community Hall at Ga-Machaka in Botlokwa, Molemole Local Municipality.

The winnings schools from the primary category are: Mamothibi Primary School got a 3rd prize & went away with R8000 in cash & other prizes, 2nd prize went to Boshatolo Primary School which got a cash prize of R10 000 and other prizes, Mautswi Primary School scooped the 1st prize & went away with a cash amount of R16 000.

In the secondary category, the 3rd prize went to Matlalaohle Secondary School with a cash prize of R8000, 2nd prize went to Rasema Secondary School which got R10 000 in cash, 1st prize went to St Brendans Secondary School. 18 primary schools and 5 primary schools took part in the competition.

People who took part in the event also took time to plant trees, called Arcacia, Celtis Africana, and Eastern Mahogany, at the Machaka Traditional Authority where the event took place.
