CDM HAND OVER NEW WATER PROJECT SITES AT MOLEMOLE MUNICIPALITY

SEFENE EISLEBEN MATSEKE AND RAMATSHOWE RWS PHASE 1 – CONTRACT A

This project said implemented at Eisleben commenced on 12 November 2024 and is said to be completed on 12 December 2025. The scope of work involves the equipping and electrification of five (5) boreholes, construction of approximately 23.4 km pipeline, fencing of borehole facilities, construction of access road to boreholes , and raw Storage construction. This work will cost just over R 57m.

This project will benefit residents of Ramatshowe village. Ĺĺp Commencement date 12 November 2024 Completion date 12 December 2025 SCOPE OF WORK Construction of 6.5 ML concrete reservoir • Construction of approximately 11.0 km pipeline.• Fencing of the storage facilitiesConstruction Cost R 56 585 729.2

PHASHA WATER SUPPLY PHASE 1

This project will benefit the community of Phasha village. It will commence on 12 November 2024, and be completed on 12 October-2025.

The work involves the construction of about 7 453m length of pipeline as outlined below:

– Construction of about 2800m length of 75 nominal diameter (ND) uPVC pipe, Class 12.

– Construction of about 1550m length of 90 nominal diameter (ND) uPVC pipe, Class 12.

– Construction of about 3053m length of 110 nominal diameter (ND) uPVC pipe, Class 12.

– Construction of about 500m length of 80mm nominal diameter galvanised steel pipe on Section G of Bill of Quantities

●-Re-testing and equipping of 6 x boreholes.

● Fencing of all boreholes.

● Construction of packaged purification plant.

● Fencing of package purification plant.

● Supply and erect of 400kl and 160kl elevated steel supply.

● Eskom electrical connections for boreholes and package plant.

● Installation of necessary fittings and specials, i.e Bends, Valves etc.

The construction cost is just over R41m.
