The Executive Mayor of CDM Cllr. Mamedupi Teffo joined the Limpopo Premier Dr Phophi Ramathuba, and the Limpopo Department of Education MEC Mavhungu Lerule-Ramakhanya for the launch of the 2024 Matric Examinations Count Down at SJ Van Der Merwe Secondary School in Lebowakgomo.With the 2024 Matric Examinations starting in October, the day started with a solidarity walk from SJ Van Der Merwe Secondary School, where about 1000 learners from schools around the area joined the leadership.
They walked to Lebowakgomo Civic Centre, where the formal programme took place.
