Capricorn District Municipality participated in the Provincial Golden Games held at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium to give support to the elderly from the district who were taking part in the Provincial Golden Games. The games were a multi-sectoral programme hosted by the Limpopo Department of Social Development and Department of Sport, Arts and Culture.The programme was attended by representatives from the Limpopo Legislature, Department of Social Development, Department of Sport, Arts and Culture, Capricorn District Municipality and Polokwane Municipality.
The winners will represent the province at the national Golden Games, in North-West. All five districts in the province namely, Vhembe, Sekhukhune, Waterberg, Mopani and Capricorn were represented in the games.
