“Discipline breeds dedication, dedication breeds excellence”, this is the lesson Executive Mayor Cllr John Mpe left the learners with at Lekota High school, GaDikgale during a back-to-school visit. He was accompanied by motivation panel of radio personalities, musicians, Mrs Limpopo and Mrs Tlou Segolela Sport Development.
On 18 January the Executive Mayor, Cllr J Mpe accompanied the MEC for education Mr Ishmael Kgetjepe to Dendron high school and Kgakoa high in Magodu. These schools did very well in terms of the 2018 matric results. The back to school campaign is an annual programme by the Executive Mayor to encourage schools within CDM to perform well in education.
The CDM programme led by the Executive Mayor deployed all members of the political management committee and mayoral committee accompanied by other councillors to schools around the district as part of encouraging learners as they start a new year of their studies.
