In her opening address, she emphasized that partnerships can be a catalyst for economic growth and development. She further said that academic institutions are the hubs of knowledge, innovation, and talent. The engagement session is organised to present the milestone that Capricorn College for TVET has achieved and also solicit new ideas that will assist the college.
“When you join forces with government and other organs of State, you bring with yourself the power to enrich developmental planning and drive local economies forward,” the Executive Mayor, Cllr Mamedupi Teffo said.
CDM and TVET College recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on areas of skills development and scholarship opportunities for employees and on the other hand, benefit College students with leadership placements and work-based training opportunities, particularly those who want to become process controllers and technicians.
