Capricorn District Municipality delivered a successful well attended CDM 4-IN-ONE Marathon which is a Two Oceans and Comrades Marathon qualifier on 17 February 2024 at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium. More than 2350 runners participated in the marathon. The Executive Mayor Cllr Mamedupi Teffo participated in the 21km and was joined by other dignitaries. The Marathon was organised in partnership with Polokwane Athletics Club and sponsored by Mercurius Polokwane, The Park Inn Hotel by Radisson, Limpopo Gambling Board, Lepelle Northern Water, Polokwane Vexoscore Pty Ltd.The winners of the CDM 4-in-1 marathon are:

In the Men’s category, the winner is Jackson Olesenge (2:22, 56s), while from the women’s category the winner is Gladys Cheruiyot (3:04,11s). Both winners of the 42,2km run are from Kenya.
21,1km
From the men’s category the winner is Reghan Magwai (1:04, 51s). From the women’s category the winner is Faith Kiptoo, from Kenya (1:24, 27s).
10km
From the men’s category the winner is Tebogo Pilusa (0:31, 12s). From the women’s side the winner is Kamogelo Mogano (0:38, 14s)
Over two-thousand runners took part in the marathon.
