HEALTH AND HYGIENE AWARENESS CAMPAIGN AT SCHOOLS

Capricorn District Municipality successfully held a Health and Hygiene Awareness campaign at schools around the district as part of a build-up to the Cleanest School Competition to be held this year in March. The campaigns started in Molemole Local Municipality, Polokwane, and Lepelle-Nkumpi respectively.
The campaign held in partnership with Polokwane Chemical Supply is in response to challenges of poor sanitation and improper waste management happening in schools and aims to improve the status of schools to encourage a conducive environment for learning.
The last leg of the Health and Hygiene Awareness Campaign, and Cleanest School Competition Build-up Program was held at schools in Lepelle-Nkumpi Municipality at Thoka Primary School (Sepanapudi), Dr Dickson Mphahlele Primary School (Lebowakgomo), and Ramolokoane Primary School (Mokgoto) on 16 February 2024.
