The Capricorn District Municipality convened the 2nd Integrated Development Plan (IDP) Budget Representative Forum on the draft 2026/2027–2030/31 IDP and budget at Jack Botes Hall in Polokwane on 18 March 2026.
Executive Mayor Cllr Mamedupi Teffo presented key budget-related policies forming part of the draft 2026/2027 IDP and budget, outlining the municipality’s development priorities and financial plans for the coming years.
The session began with a warm welcome by Cllr Kholofelo Lehong, who acknowledged the presence of councillors, traditional leaders (Magoshi), and all stakeholders in attendance.
The forum served as a critical platform for engagement, ensuring that community voices were incorporated into the municipality’s planning and budgeting processes. The day commenced with a briefing session.
