On 21 May 2026, government services were successfully brought closer to the community of Avon Marobjane following a request made by Kgoshi Seakamela in March 2026 for improved access to essential services, including Home Affairs, SASSA, Labour and other government departments.
In the true spirit of Batho Pele, various departments and entities came together to provide direct services and support to community members.
Among those present were the Limpopo Gambling Board, SAPS, LEDET Consumer Rights Office, Blouberg Local Municipality, CDM Emergency Services, Disaster Management, Correctional Services and GCIS.
The initiative highlighted government’s ongoing commitment to responsive service delivery and ensuring that communities had access to important public services closer to where they live.
