- Section 53 of the MFMA stipulates that “the Mayor should approve the SDBIP within 28 days after the approval of the budget. The Executive Mayor must also ensure that the revenue and expenditure projections for each month and the service delivery targets and performance indicators as set out in the SDBIP are made public within 14 days after their approval.
