PREMIER MATHABATHA OFFICIALLY OPENS LIMPOPO PROVINCIAL HOUSE OF TRADITIONAL AND KHOI-SAN LEADERS

Speaking during the event, Limpopo Premier Chupu Mathabatha, recommitted the government’s support to the house to make sure they function at their best. Premier Mathabatha spoke about the issue of initiation schools in the province and emphasized the importance of these being taken care of by traditional leaders, as the custodians of our morals and values.

He called on law enforcement officials to clamp down on illegal initiation schools that continue to spoil the good work that the schools do in the communities.

The event was attended by traditional leaders from national, provincial, district, and local levels. Councilors and officials from  government also graced the event.
