The Political Management Team (PMT) led by Executive Mayor Cllr Mamedupi Teffo is visiting the Masekwameng family at Ga-Raweshi after they experienced a fire disaster that led to a loss of a child’s life. The family lost all its belongings in the fire.“Losing a home and loved one to a disaster like this is unimaginable, and our hearts ache alongside those who are grieving. The pain of such a loss is profound, and while we may not fully understand the depth of your sorrow, please know that you are not alone. Many in the community, along with friends and loved ones, are here to offer their support in any way they can,” said the Executive Mayor conveying condolence to the family.
The Speaker Cllr Kholofelo Lehong and Chief Whip Cllr Lesiba Matsemela also extended their condolences to the family. The family is close relative of Cllr Rahab Masekwameng who is Chairperson of the District Multiparty Women’s Commission and member of the Municipal Public Accounts Committee (MPAC). The PMT visit took place on 24 October 2024.
