On 13 March 2024, the Executive Mayor Cllr Mamedupi Teffo officially handed over a completed Bodutlolo Water Project at Ga-Mathabatha in Lepelle-Nkumpi Local Municipality.Last year, 2023, the Executive Mayor officially introduced the contractor and consulting engineers to the local traditional authority of Ga-Mathabatha and community of Bodutlolo.
The Executive thanked the community for cooperating with the municipality during the implementation of the project and appealed to the community to take care of the water infrastructure and report any act of vandalism.
“This project belong you as the community. You must take care of it,” said Executive Mayor. Kgoshi Mathabatha thanked the Executive Mayor for her commitment towards resolving water challenges and listening to him when he raised issues with her office. He wished for her to continue doing the same to others communities.
