MPAC visit projects in Lepelle-Nkumpi

The new Municipal Public Accounts Committee (MPAC) has commenced with its oversight work. Led by the Chairperson Cllr Lisbeth Mothata, today the committee visited Bolahlakgomo and Volop Water Supply project in Zebediela under Lepelle-Nkumpi Local Municipality.
The construction work on Bolahlakgomo WS project is complete awaiting electrification. Upon electrification, it will be commissioned and then officially handed over to the municipality. The outstanding work at Volop is the connection of pipes to purification plant.
The projects will supply water to the community of Bolahlakgomo and Volop. Both projects commenced in February 2020 and cost R12,7 million and R10,3 million respectively.
On Monday 31 January 2022, MPAC visited Sephala Mokopu Makwetja and Thoka Water Supply project.
